Kids Art Skills Summer Workshops
...
with Lola Marie Finkelstein at the Dragonfly Studio.
This series of "Art Skills" Workshops is aimed at building the skills your child needs for their submissions into your Local School District
PTA "Reflections" Art Program, (this is a National Competition that takes place in the Fall).
I am offering 4 (or more) workshops that will focus on the theme of this years contest:
"Let Your Imagination Fly".
This is not your typical kids art course.
- Each workshop will focus on a different art technique, medium, and subject matter ...to help the student find the best fit for developing their personal artistic style.
-Each workshop will have a theme that ties into this years competition, and the course program will help the student to develop their own original concept ...for their submissions into this local, state and national contest.

Workshop Fees are $20.00 per each session.
Sibling Fees = $15.00 each. And 1/2 off scholarships may be available ...(if your child attends a sponsored school).
PART # 3 of 5
*******************************
NOTE: For this competition ..."the Theme is 1/2 of the Judging Points".
Each workshop will have over a dozen different image examples of the theme for that week, which will easily allow the students to find one or more image that will inspire them. So even if the topic sounds unappealing in print, it will inspire creativity at the actual workshop.
Students do not have to be register for the Reflections Program to attend the workshops, but priority registration does go to the student who enter, (as this is the main purpose of this series of workshops).
Students can register for 1 or more workshops, (they do not have to take all 4). But it is recommended to sign up for all 4 ...as priority registrations is give to students taking the full load of courses.
Also more Workshop Dates & Times can be added... if the waiting list to fills. And classes can be added in Mixed Media, 3- D or Abstract Art forms, Sculpture, Jewelry Making etc., ...if there is enough interest in these topics.
